Water Softener Data
When setting a water softener, the hardness setting is 11 grains per gallon, or 188 parts per million if you reside in Floyd County or Washington County. If you live in Clark County the hardness setting is 2 grains per gallon, or 34 parts per million. The PH level is 7. Also keep in mind that running a water softener will cause your usage to increase. See your manufacturer's data for estimated increase in water usage.
