This page provides information regarding drinking water treatment and distribution system violations, operational issues, public notices, and corrective actions as required by applicable state and federal regulations. All active public notices will remain posted until resolved. Resolved notices will remain available for a minimum of five (5) years. The Official Public Notice will be attached below.
Public Notification Violation Tiers for Public Water Systems
Tier 1: Immediate Risk to Health
Required within 24 hours. Examples include E. coli MCL violations, nitrate/nitrite MCL violations, waterborne disease outbreaks, and certain severe treatment failures.
Tier 2: Other Significant Violations
Required as soon as practical but no later than 30 days. Examples include most MCL violations, MRDL violations, treatment technique violations, and excessive disinfection byproducts.
Tier 3: Minor Violations
Required within 1 year. Examples include monitoring, reporting, recordkeeping, and administrative violations.

The acceptable standard for turbidity is that at least 95% of the samples tested each month must be less than 0.3 NTU. During the July 2026 monitoring period, 26.3% of our samples were 0.30 NTU or less. |
